Noticed this on Avoca Avenue. There's a school nearby. Someone probably found it on the footpath and helpfully stuck in on the telegraph pole in case its owner might come looking for it. Ah, civilization.

Taken about a decade ago. He was sitting on a bench with his dog, taking in the evening sun. When I asked permission he was delighted to be photographed, stripped to the waist to show off his physique and did a variety of poses. I should have spent the whole roll on him. I've lost his name and address, sadly. But I did send him a copy at the time, as he had requested.

Found this mural down a lane of a little road in Blackrock. A car-repair place. Used to sell secondhand furniture clothes and books: suits and coats for the terminally depresssed etc. Actually it was a handy enough place to find odd items for a flat or bedsit, or to browse the damp books for something interesting; ah, I love the smell of mildew in the afternoon.
